RAP SHEET 2/21/21

Writer: MetaChurchMetaChurch

Special Guest: Pastor Roy Farias

Ice Breaker: Would you rather only talk in rhymes or only hear in monotone?

REVIEW:

This week Pastor Roy talked to us about what it means to truly love those around us!

What was one of your biggest takeaways from this weeks message?

What is one way you were challenged in how you related to those around you?

What is one way you were encouraged by this week's scriptures?

When we try to love out of our own power, we fall short. However, when our love is rooted in the love of Christ it becomes strong enough to love even the most difficult people.

How does reflecting on Christ's love for you strengthen your love for others?

APPLY:

Jesus said that the world will know we are His by how we love one another. Loving people is the ultimate act of living like Christ!

HERE IS YOU APPLICATION QUESTION FOR THE WEEK:

What is ONE WAY you will apply this week's lesson to demonstrate a rooted love to the world around you?

PRAY:

Spend some time praying for God to reveal the areas of your life where you have been less than loving. Ask the Holy Spirit to constantly remind you of God's love for you. Meditate on opportunities you may be passing up to love like Jesus!
