Movement Academy

The Meta Movement Academy is a semester-long discipleship and leadership development program at MetaChurch designed to help you become healthy—spiritually, emotionally, relationally, and financially—so you can step into your God-given purpose. Whether you're feeling stuck or simply ready to grow, the Academy provides practical tools to help you move forward and thrive, living a life on purpose and with purpose.

The Academy is for any adult who attends MetaChurch or is connected to our community and desires to grow personally and spiritually. Everyone gets stuck at some point in life. The Academy is designed to help you get healthy, get unstuck, and start moving toward the life God created you to live. If you're ready to grow, discover your purpose, and make a greater impact, the Academy is for you.

The Academy is offered twice each year during Spring and Fall semesters. Each semester includes once-a-week teaching sessions, small group discussions, practical application, and a retreat experience. A typical semester is around three-and-a-half months long.

Enrollment begins by attending a required Info Session, held approximately one month before each semester begins. During the session, you'll learn about the Academy, what to expect, and how to complete the registration process. (Find information for the next info session on the main academy page.)

The Academy is built around two primary goals:

• Get Healthy — This is deep, intentional work. You will be challenged to slow down, reflect, and confront areas of your life that may have been overlooked or avoided. Through spiritual, emotional, relational, and financial growth, you’ll begin to uncover who God truly created you to be. This process isn’t surface-level—it requires honesty, vulnerability, and a willingness to be stretched. As you build new habits and rhythms, you’ll experience lasting transformation from the inside out.

• Get Moving — As you grow, you won’t stay stagnant. You’ll be pushed to step into action, discovering how God can use your unique story, gifts, and experiences to make a real impact. This is about moving beyond comfort and into purpose—learning to trust God with your next steps and boldly live out the calling He has placed on your life.

Participants often experience:

• Greater clarity about their purpose and personal story.

• Healthier relationships and stronger boundaries.

• Practical tools to overcome feeling stuck.

• Meaningful community, encouragement, and accountability.

• Preparation for leadership opportunities and deeper ministry involvement.

Many graduates share that the Academy helped them recognize both their strengths and growth areas, giving them the confidence to live with greater purpose and intentionality.

Because transformation happens through consistency, participants are expected to attend sessions regularly and actively engage in the program. The Academy is a meaningful investment of both time and resources, designed to produce lasting personal and spiritual growth.
