Baptism Service is on October 6th!

GETTING BAPTIZED IS AN IMPORTANT NEXT STEP IN YOUR FAITH JOURNEY. IT IS AN OUTWARD SYMBOL OF YOUR COMMITMENT TO FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST. BECAUSE OF THIS, WE CELEBRATE WHENEVER ANYONE MAKES THIS PUBLIC DECLARATION.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN AT MY BAPTISM?

You will enter the baptism pool, and the person baptizing you will ask if you have placed your faith in Jesus. After you answer, we will baptize you by briefly lowering you just under the water and then pulling you back up. After your baptism, you can dry off and watch friends or family who may be in line behind you. You may notice members of our media team taking pictures and videos of your baptism. We will post these pictures and videos to social media in the days following for your friends and family to celebrate with you! These photos and videos may also be used for announcement packages or on our website. Please let us know if you want to keep your baptism private from social media or any other outlet.

MAY MY FAMILY BE BAPTIZED TOGETHER?

Yes! If each person understands the meaning of baptism and has personally placed their faith in Jesus, we love to baptize families at the same time. It is a great way to move forward together spiritually.

WHOM SHOULD I INVITE TO MY BAPTISM?

Water baptism provides the opportunity to affirm God's work in your life. One becomes a new person through the power of Jesus' death and resurrection. We encourage everyone to invite their family and friends to the service.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR AT MY BAPTISM?

Wear clothes that will not retain much water (jeans are not good), such as long swim trunks, dark shorts, or yoga pants. Also, make sure to bring a change of clothes, a towel, and a plastic bag for wet clothing. Need something you want to wear? No worries, we've got you covered and will have everything you need.
